At this time both Dealers Room and Dealers Row are SOLD OUT.
If you would like to be put on the WAITING LIST for Arisia '11, and on the mailing list to be notified when the application form opens for Arisia '12, please fill out the Dealer application form.
Dealers at Arisia may sell from tables in the Dealers Room or sell from guests rooms they rent from the hotel on the Dealers Row floor. The fees are $100 per table or per Dealers Row room. In addition to the fee, Dealers on Dealers Row will need to rent a hotel room. Memberships are required, but are not included in the Dealer fee. If you would like to purchase memberships, please see our membership registration page. (Dealers please read the Dealer FAQ before buying memberships.)
If you are interested in being a dealer at Arisia, we have a FAQ which can answer most of your questions. The FAQ can be reached at http://2011.arisia.org/DealerFAQ. If you have any further questions after reading the FAQ, please e-mail [email protected].
For information about types of hotel rooms and rates, please see Arisia's Hotel page. Once you are a confirmed dealer, you will be informed how to reserve a room for Dealers Row. If you also wish to get a separate room for sleeping, please reserve it through the normal room reservation process at any time.
As a dealer at Arisia you are responsible for making sure that you pay all appropriate taxes and that what you sell is not illegal (including does not violate copyright).
If you are an out-of-state vendor you should read: A Guide to Sales and Use Taxes. For more information on Massachusetts taxes, see the Department of Revenue web site or call: (617) 887-MDOR (or in state: (800) 392-6089).
To find out what weapons are not legal to carry in Massachusetts see Mass. General Laws Chapter 269, Section 10 (search for paragraph (b) in the middle). Basically if it is more dangerous than a Koosh Ball(tm), then it's probably illegal. Some of the things banned by the state are: any knife having a double-edged blade, dirk knife, any armband made with leather which has metallic spikes, nunchaku, ....
The hotel contract says that bumper stickers and any other sort of sticker may not be distributed at the convention, so no free stickers advertising your business.
